Awesome Customer Review!!
To my friends at Bob’s Mobility Freedom,
I wish to convey my thanks to all at Bob’s for the assistance I received
during the recent selection and purchase of a new Z-1 scooter for my 90 year
old mother-in-law who lives in a population 500 town in central Kansas.
Everyone I met at Bob’s was friendly, courteous, informative and a
pleasure to do business with. I went in with the expectation of high pressure used
car salesmen tactics.
Boy was I wrong.
Mike greeted me, asked me how he could
help and guided me though the selection process to insure I brought the right
scooter for Grandma and was told I could pick it up in two days.
The following day I returned 4 or 5 different times to get an answer
to all my questions I had thought of the previous evening. Mike was out on call
but the ladies who wrote up the purchase contract proved to be quite
knowledgeable and were able to answer any and all quires I could think of.
Meaghan, Cathy and Orhon are an invaluable asset to Bob’s. They showed me all
the ins and outs as well as the do’s and dont’s. They provided a level of
comfort which made me feel as if I had driven one of these scooters for years.
The timing was great. I had plenty of time to put on decals, make a
top and install a foot rest
(All of this was available at Bobs, but I was too cheap to buy it.)
My friend and I secured the scooter in the back of my truck for
delivery to my son who was going on vacation and agreed to drop off the scooter
at Grandmas home on Kansas and break her in on it.
Grandma can’t drive any more. She lives 3 blocks from downtown Little
River and the scooter will give her the opportunity to pick up her mail, pay
bills, visit friends, get groceries, visit the Senior Center, etc.
Now all I had to do was deliver the scooter to my son in San Diego. I was
running late, took a short cut on a dirt road and hit a 2 foot pothole at
40mph. My head hit the roof and things got kind of exciting for a minute. When
the truck quit bouncing and I got things under control I stopped, got out, and
examined the truck and scooter for damage. I discovered that I had broken the
seat bracket and one of the wheels on the scooter.
The scooter was to stay in Kansas so I elected not to purchase the
warranty package. I was thinking as I drove back to Bob’s “This is gonna cost
me and will probably take weeks to get parts!!!”
Boy was I wrong again!
I arrived at Bob’s, admitted to my careless stupidity and asked Mike
“How much and how long?”
He told me to come back in 45 minutes, I asked him if it took that
long to write up a bill and he said, “No, that’s how long it will take to make
the repairs and there will be no charge.” I said “You remember that I didn’t
get the warranty?” and he responded “No charge. We will write it off to
customer appreciation this time.”
What a relief!
I returned in the 45 minutes and found my scooter good as new and
ready to go. They loaded it and helped me tie it down for the trip to San
Diego.
I have never been so satisfied, or felt so good about a purchase as I
do with my experience with Bob’s. The normal twinge of “buyer’s remorse” was
completely absent and made me want to go back and buy another scooter.
Again, I want to thank you guys and let you know how grateful and
appreciative I am.
Sincerely,
Larry Bozeman PhD
